About us

My name is Jaie. I am a professional independant and reliable self employed Dog Groomer based at Claire's Dog Grooming, Norton Subcourse NR14 6SA. I take great pride in being a Dog Groomer as I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs! I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work with animals and I have worked with animals for many years.  I have previously worked in boarding kennels where I first started as a volunteer Saturday girl walking the the dogs, this then lead to me being taken on as a kennel hand and then I progressed in to the kennels Dog Groomer. I have also volunteered at rescue centers and enjoyed helping the dogs and animals grow in confidence.

I live and breathe DOGS and I am so passionate about all aspects of dogs. I have attended many seminars, courses and workshops to broaden my knowledge of dogs such as Dog Law with Trevor Cooper, Interactive Play and Behaviour with Craig Ogilvie, and Conformation and Movement and Points Of The Dog with Steven Bardwell.

I have been grooming professionally for 12 years and I am still passionate about grooming and I love it!

I am fully qualified and have proudly achieved my NVQ Level 2 City and Guilds Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants and OCN Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. I am also Canine First Aid trained by FlexiMed. I have completed my Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning training too.

At home I have two dogs of my own. Freddie my Bichon Frise cross Yorkshire Terrier and Leo my English Springer Spaniel. We enjoy long walks in the country and along the beach. We have also compete in Agility competitions.

I also have a few other pets at home which include a pond which is home to many Koi Carp, and 7 Guinea Pigs, called Edna, Sasha, Cilla, Amy, Molly, Florence and Buttercup, who has beautiful long hair!
